Neurological Conditions

There are over 600 neurological conditions. Not all conditions can be addressed at this center. Therapist have clinical experience and additional course training to be able to address a wide variety of conditions. If we are unable to provide services, we will aim to provide guidance as to who may be better suited to help.

The nervous system can be divided into two systems. The central nervous system consists of the brain and the spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system includes all nerves outside of the brain and the spinal cord. The autonomic nervous system regulates involuntary physiologic processes including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, and sexual arousal. It is a component of the peripheral nervous system. Some conditions cause a disruption in the function of our neurological systems but may not be defined as a neurological condition.
