Physiotherapist and Owner

Sarah began working as a physiotherapist after graduating from the University of Alberta in 2009.  She gained invaluable clinical experience working at a Rehabilitation Hospital treating individuals with neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and stroke. Given the many benefits of electrical stimulation, she has incorporated and promoted this stimulation to assist in neurological rehabilitation.

In 2012, Sarah completed the Medical Acupuncture Program from the University of Alberta, and since then has worked to incorporate a holistic approach in her treatment plans.  After personally experiencing how improper breathing can affect one’s overall health, she became passionate about all things breathing.  She now aims to help others learn how to breathe in ways to maximize their health, healing, and well-being.

In addition to her 15+ years of experience as a skilled physiotherapist, Sarah has received certification in Medical Acupuncture, Bradcliff Breathing Method™, has become a HeartMath™  Certified Practitioner, and has a certificate in Manual Therapy for Vagal Function, Functional Electrical Stimulation, Explain Pain, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Bone Fit ™. On a quest for life long learning, Sarah has recently completed a course on Complex Dizziness, Functional Neurological Disorder and Vision in Neurorehabilitation.
