Resonate Physiotherapy is a mobile clinic. Resonate was started to improve availability and access to community Neurological physiotherapy Sherwood Park and surrounding area. Sarah, the owner and physiotherapist of Resonate Physiotherapy also works out of other clinics.
Sarah began working as a physiotherapist after graduating from the University of Alberta in 2009. She gained invaluable clinical experience working in Community Based Rehabilitation Hospital programs, treating individuals with neurological conditions, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injuries, Parkinson’s, Brain injuries, Concussions, and Stroke. Working in the private sector Sarah has gained clinical experience in Long Covid, Functional Neurological Disorders and Migraines.
In 2012, Sarah completed the Medical Acupuncture Program from the University of Alberta, and since then has worked to incorporate a holistic approach in her treatment plans. Learning how to breathe in ways to maximize health, healing, and well-being is key to the holistic approach.
In addition to her 15+ years of experience as a skilled physiotherapist working in the area of neurology, Sarah has received certification in Medical Acupuncture, Bradcliff Breathing Method™, has become a HeartMath™ Certified Practitioner, and has a certificate in Manual Therapy for Vagal Function, Functional Electrical Stimulation, Explain Pain, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Bone Fit ™. On a quest for life long learning, Sarah participates in a variety of courses and is a member of a Brain bytes educational community. Some of her most recent courses are in Complex Dizziness, Functional Neurological Disorder and Vision in Neurorehabilitation
